    Hershey’s coming up soon who’s going and what are you looking for. Here are a few pictures from two years ago. For me I’m looking for 32 ford truck parts, windshield frame cowl vent and anything else I can’t live without C83E93FE-F7F6-457B-A21F-52645DC59A08.jpeg E8DA4685-7650-4AA3-9F14-8D9E045F280C.jpeg 0BEA7114-6DF7-46EB-88F0-3114E72772B1.jpeg C83E93FE-F7F6-457B-A21F-52645DC59A08.jpeg

    52nd in a row for me (last year doesn't count), 1968 was our first year. As lothi suggests, comfortable shoes, as unlike early years on grass everything now is on blacktop. If you are into race cars the Race Car Reliability Run is on Friday at 10:30 am in the stadium.

    Lots of walking , as far as the eye can see ! Easier walking then the delapadated Carlisle roads. For those 1st timers ,spectators park in the grass cross the main road with the help of traffic guards and all blacktop walking from there as far as the eye can see . Some up hill steps separate different sections .Mouth watering sites for guys like us !!! I'm expecting to be there unless weather doesn't cooperate .

    Wednesday is the first "official" day the swap meet opens to the public. We'll be there in the north Chocolate field with three trailers full of cool stuff! Look for my Model A doodlebug in my Avatar. A-Bone the old hot-rodder will be driving! 20210719_142326[1].jpg

    I will be there from Wed through Saturday. The best old car event ever, in my
    Opinion.

    My Hershey buddy and I will be there Wed. & Thurs. I look for hubcaps and wheel covers that I need like another hole in the head, just can't help myself:rolleyes: Most of the stuff I come home with I don't even know how bad I need it until I see it!! Sure did miss Hershey last year but as we all know, shit happened!

  19. ...It's adjacent to all of the Chocolate Factory and Amusement park, but as far as I know there isn't any affiliation.

    Honestly I'm not sure what all is in the pile as I have not done any sort of ID or inventory.

    I might go one of these days.
    Hope you guys have a good time and buy and sell everything you want to.
    I'm with you in spirit. Especially since I have 2 grille shells coming from pkhammer (Greg) in Virginia via Hershey to Michigan with the help of
    @pkhammer
    @loveoftiki
    @terry54999
    And even an offer to help from
    @Mr cheater in Wisconsin.
    :)

    BTW...
    I'll be recovering from shoulder surgery.

    I hope your surgery and recovery go well. Glad we all together could get these parts to you. Kudos to all who were willing to help a fellow Hamber!
    BTW, if you've never been to Hershey you NEED to go to Hershey. 9000 vendor spaces filled with mostly prewar parts!!!

    Thanks, Greg.
    And thanks for the grilles. I very much look forward to test fitting them on my roadster project.

    As far as going to Hershey...
    Judy here has timeshares around the country. Nice accommodations with full kitchens. Turns out she has one in Hershey. I may take advantage of it sometime. Just gotta book ahead.

    Now... I wonder if she has one near Wendover Utah.
