I’ve been watching this lately on Instagram, I’m
Super curious what they actually sound like in person.

ive seen video where it’s your standard almost quick change type of super changer wine, and others sound like you dumped gravel inside of a Pete Jackson gear drive.

im assuming the pitch is just so that a phone just doesn’t have the microphone to really grab it accurately but I’m still curious.

either way they sure look neat!

Now what I'd be interested to know is- will the new Frenzel be accepted as "vintage technology/period correct" by date-conscious events like TROG, etc?

I think there might actually be more than one place reproducing them

 

Just went on their website to check pricing. If youve ever seen an original for sale you know how reasonable the new ones are. I can't imagine the work it took to get these to production. I think I need one!

It’s been a long road, even longer to bring a blower to market where every little detail is noted.

 

No connection with Loveless, but we’ve chatted with him- nice guy,

 

Can’t see why not Mac, the bucks/patterns are taken straight from the original blower, we’ve gone above and beyond to make sure everything is as authentic as it can be.
Theres no off the shelf items- everything is custom made exactly as it was in 1949

 

So....what is the website for the Australian ones?
Everything I've searched only goes to Loveless.

So an Aussie company reversed engineered an old design, did the Ca company do the same?

And we complain about the Chinese

Now don’t shoot me. I’m sure by now (if any) no patents were infringed upon.

 

Makes me want to build up the French block I bought 20 years ago, and haven't touched since. Pretty damn cool. Went to Pomona swap when I was in Ca. back in '95, saw an incomplete one sitting there for $100. Didn't look to close, knew I couldn't carry it on the plane, and didn't have a use for it, just wanted it . AFAIK it could have been cracked or broken, but I've never forgotten seeing it.
Looked at both websites. Think I like both of them.
