    I don't want this thread too turn political but... I've just read Mike Cook is the latest victim of this horrible pandemic.

    I guess it's mike "Jelly bean" Cook not the other one. not that, that matters.

    Mike owned an automotive machine shop in Wilmington Ca. He drove sprint cars both 360’s and 410’s and continued to drive in the California Senior Circuit. He also had a “cackle fest” Blown fuel Chrysler front engine dragster. After his “retirement” he was a mainstay in the Don Ferguson Family of LSR record setting cars. He was a great friend to my son and I and helped my son with his dirt circle track super stock. Mike was a great guy and fun to be around when we visited the Ferguson pit or were pitted next to them. He will be missed by all his many friends…
