As the title states, this is about one of the pics that pop up as a header at the top of the of The HAMB pages. Searched to find if this has been has been mentioned before with no luck.....so hope this is not one of those dreaded "Do a search - this has been covered before." threads. If I missed a thread on it....apologies. I ran into this browsing around and thought it is pretty rad to see where this car ended up. Some may be aware of this and some may not......either way, it's cool.
The person who put that film together is Ben Kahan who is only in his early 20's and has made several outstanding short films about hot rodding, several having to do with HAMB qualified cars. He certainly has the lineage to do it. His dad is Aaron Kahan a member of the Choppers, his grandfather is a lifelong hot rodder, and his uncle is Robert Williams the hot rod artist. Check out the work of this talented young man on his You Tube channel 4 Speed Films.
...is this the same Hotrod?...if it isn't it sure as heck was inspired by it... Cool Thread Great Hotrod...
@Joe Blow I did some snooping around and I'll just share this link...I believe it's the prior owner to the current one in the video you shared... https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/valley-customs-deuce-found.553893/ I suspect even the current Owner is a Hamber...he has quite a collection of interesting rides that's for sure... I'm curious did Jon put it back on a 34 frame?...I think he said he had one...
Good find @Stogy, looks like I did miss one. Not sure on the frame, the video was all I found with any info on his ownership of this car. Yeah, I figured he was a member here too.
I say No , The 32 ( staging) the rear fender are higher (right a belt line) Where the Red 32 with white walls ,rear fender looks to be 3-4 inch lower
Your probably correct Red...I did note the rear fender looked lower to the belt-line but thought it may be optical due to light and angle, both have cowl vents removed and it seems there were frame swaps along the way...I'm gonna say I'm fencing it for now...Perhaps someone can identify the Deuce I shared or have another angle of same...a rear 3/4 shot would put things into bigger and better perspective... This Pic Below from the Link I shared shows how much things can change based on light and angle...
