Saw this at the Vintage Races at Lime Rock Friday. Bob

 

I know this is a louver thread but I am digging these fenders. Plated? Painted? Regardless, cool look with that blue paint and striping.

 

For the temporary distraction posted above, I offer this picture in atonement. The fitment of my hood to cowl in process prior to paint. There, back on topic.

You are aging gracefully, looking good. You have quite a stellar reputation here on the HAMB. Well justified in my opinion but I have known it for 45 years. Finally did what you advised me so many years ago. I bought a built car out of Florida about 6 months ago. Making some small changes for me and enjoying it.

I'm right there with you BB, that shot works for me too, especially with the turned front wheel/fender, but if someone tried to explain it I probably would have poo poo'd it.
I gotta say I can't say the same for the red painted rearend.

That's a helluva heavy toy to borrow and bring home...did he allow you to borrow the press and his shop to boot as a compromise?

Pretty hard to go wrong photographically at Bonneville...ever...white never looked so good...that's a very cool pic @loudbang..​
