Just updated my avatar, replaced the 396/402 with a 454 and the 350 Turbo with a 4L70E. Got a few things to sort out but its running and driving again.

Here is the one that I have owned 33 years and I have driven it about that long.

I am rebuilding it this year. I think I will do the Ohio style flames on it this time.

It did, you have to click the red arrow to see it. It’s A bitchin’ looking truck! Bring it was at IRP is just icing on the cake.

I chopped my avatar in 1988-89 . There weren't any how to books back then . I bought a truck for $75 in 1986 and practiced chopping it's top ,then hauled it to the scrap yard. I then bought another one for $150 and with a little more knowledge I practiced chopping it . Then I bought my avatar for $ 300 and chopped it. I had tacked the top together and cut the tacks back out 4 times before I got the look I wanted. These not very good pics are from 88-89 , you will see my method was a little unorthodox . :p Bill

I cut the whole center of the top out of mine and skinned it with the skin of another cab top so that I could keep the crown in the top. I had seen to many that the roof was flat. If I did that again I would try to buy the same section from a panel truck so that it would have more metal to use near the back. There is lots of bonds in mine.
