Our club has 6 spaces at swap meet and a trailer load of stuff. Pictures of some of my stuff. I hope to see some of you there.
It looks like good weather and, from the people I know, there is going to be a lot of good stuff there.
I have heard a rumor that this may be the last “Nat’s North” event in Kalamazoo. Car count has been down and product vendor’s have been dwindling in the past years. Has anyone else heard anything?
Drag Week registration up at US131 on Sunday. I hope to be there. I doubt I'll have time to stop by the swap meet, unfortunately.
I heard vendors numbers and spectators were low but not sure about being the last one. Someone was saying that having the Frankenmuth show on the same day doesn't help either
I will be there to check it out on Saturday. There are a lot of people I know that now go to Frankenmuth instead of going to Kalamazoo.
We have been to every Nats north since they started in Detroit. This will be the first time without my car. I will be joining some friends in the swap meet. See you all there.
I have heard that rumor for the last 10 years. ALL car shows are down, vendors are gone, etc. Sad reminer of the times.
I'll be there;.....in 2022! Can't enter the US yet due to Covid restrictions, great weather forecast, too. Always spent time in the swap meet. Something for everyone.
Louisville had 1/2 or less vendors this year versus 2019 . Mostly business related reasons I think; supply chain/manufacturing and employment problems rather than loss of interest from participants.
I think there is a new event director. The show got stale the last several years. I hope the new director helps.
