Looking for Information on a ElderBrock part number 7088 or someone with a catalog from around 1997, looking for some measurements,. All the older guys that I had contact with @ElderBrock are now retired , new guys donot know how to access the Archives. Part number 7088 is a top (TeePee Single Carburetor ) for a sbc base 7070 I was only able to find two images on the Internet and I have not seen one personally since about 2000.
I know this is simple , Some times I just can not wrap my head around to finger it out. I Been Reading & looking up scaling. ( picture scale size to Actual size) Im experimenting with a Engine combo, I have a extra Edelbrock 7073 I am cutting / milling top off ( twin carb base off) then I am going to make & tig Teepee top out of Aluminum, Yes I can just make up my own template, But I am sure when developed Edelbrock experiment with Height So I want to stay close to actual size. I Know that the ""actual size of base "" is 15 inches long . I was only able to blow up pic off web to base length of 10-1/2 inches . So I am trying to figure out the difference between picture to real scale size. Blown up picture size measurements below are, A length is 10-1/2 Actual size 15.000 B height is 5-3/4 Actual size ? C height is 2-7/16 Actual size? D length is 3.000 Actual size? E height is 3-3/4 Actual size ?
No pictures but I can help you with the scaling. 15" / 10.5" = 1.43 Therefore scale up everything by 1.43 to get the actual sizes. A) 15.0" B) 8.22" C) 3.49" D) 4.29" E) 5.36"
Thanks Gary, I can not believe I was unable to grasp , With all the crazy out side the box I come up with
