I’ve been looking for a ‘46 to ‘48 coupe but I may have found a good deal on a ‘42 Ford coupe, that’s missing most o the front sheet metal. Will ‘46-‘48 sheet metal and everything bolt up, or is it not as easy as I suspect?

Should be pretty simple. I have some 46-48 stuff if needed. I like the look of a 42 if you can be patient and scrounge up the grille parts.

@T&A Flathead thanks. I’ve been looking at ‘42 pictures, and maybe I don’t mind the front after all. I’ve been wanting a ‘46-‘48 for a while and guess I just had it in my head to swap.

This ‘42 is closer, but more money, but the other is more complete.

There is a decent short door 46 coupe for sale in the classifieds located in central MO. Looks like an easy project.
