Elvis gifted it to me as a high school graduation present in 1964” the 76-year-old told Closer Weekly. “I loved it! Can you imagine? It was my very first car and the fact that he gave it to me made it very special. It was such a beautiful car… Cars were larger in those days so this was the perfect car for me. It was sporty in look and feel. There weren’t many around.” Priscilla even managed to take The King for a spin — but under his terms. “I remember taking Elvis for a drive in it, but only around the circular driveway at Graceland,” she said. “He didn’t want to be seen with a girl driving him around!”

Nice low angle photo shows off the unique outside rear fender wrap around tailpipe. One of the key elements on the car that got noticed everywhere the car went.
I am 99% sure this is my car back in the 1950’s. Does anyone have any info on this photo or the car? There are many details on this car that match mine perfectly and mine started out as a hot rod in California. Member “harms way” posted this photo several years ago but he hasn’t been on the HAMB in awhile. I wanted to ask him about it.
The last photo is an EK Holden 1962. It has the Hydramatic emblem on the trunk. That was a horrible gearbox.
