That sure is a great looking PU and definitely not something you see every day.

  4. I like that car in bright red.As far as not driving it enough I'm guilty of the same thing. I used to drive it more often but it seems that these days there is an overabundance nuts on the road who are paying more attention to their phones than what's going on around them.

These were taken when I attended the 1980 NSRA Nats East in Timonium, MD. My good friend and I drove down together from Upstate New York. '30_Chevy.jpg oldphoto7.jpg

My 34 Master as I bought it in 2008, and then a few years later. It's currently on the back burner, waiting for me to finish my 55 Cameo pickup.

My father-in-laws '30 coupe. We had been working on it for nearly 10 years. Sadly he passed away at the end of May but he saw it completed and we took it to a couple shows before Covid slammed the door on everyone.

That's him in the classic Hot Rod Magazine-style overhead shot. IMG_4403.JPG

I’m sure it’s not the first but it is pretty tasty, if I do say so myself.

Technically mine is a 31 Chevy convertible, at least that’s what the state of South Dakota title says. 49057405-49CF-4902-BD31-8A4AAB1848AE.jpeg

Let’s see, 39 steering wheel,46 pickup headlight used as a body part the park light that has been turned around and used as a brake light, 40s dry element air cleaner and the vin number.
    So I guess 5 pieces.

That's one great looking Chevy. I always considered the 37 and 38's to be some of the best looking Chevys that GM produced and the ironic thing is that I never owned either one. The closest I got was my 39....Oh well I guess there's still time:rolleyes:

Hmm, I see a guy sitting between a pair of 46-48 FORD fenders....
Not sure about the fine state of South Dakota's DMV vehicle identification skills.
