  4. I do remember that episode. One of my favorites! :) They combined both cars and Lilly gave Herman the Munster coach for his birthday. THANKS [IMG]

The salesman used to play a TV cop, was his name Muldowney?

No the $795 T. I can't afford the coach. I'm thinking maybe Poncho.

Is the "Real" Munster Coach in a New Jersey collection? Thought I saw it on American Pickers within the last year.

I think that's it. Herman was Muldoon, this guy was his partner Gunther Toody. That hurt a few brain cells. Oh, and I love the T.

Yep, Wikipedia says it's a 289 Ford, Jahns pistons, Isky cam, ten WA-1 carburetors and Bobby Barr headers.
But in the episode Hot Rod Herman, Herman says it's a 425 cubic inch.
Dang, I wanted it to be an Olds..

Seems cheap now, but $795 was a chunk of change in '64. Esp for an "old T". :D .
    I still like it.

The used car salesman was 'Diamond Jim", played by Sid Melton.

Probably that cheap because it hasn’t any front brakes ;)

I like how Lily drives up and opens the door to get out, but you can't see her. Yvonne Decarlo sure was a classy elegant person!

That she was, but by the Munsters she was in her 40s, and covered in ghoulish makeup, so they added Marilyn for the younger, hormone driven male viewer. :)

I know a lot of guys hate them, but I have always dug the early 60’s T’s. Before the giant tire Fad T’s
