I have what i believe are some old hooker super comp bbc headers. There is a number stamped on each flange. It doesnt match their current numbers. If anyone has a old catalog that can check this number i would appreciate it. Thanks Numbers are Right 1227 or 4 Left 1224
Squirrel do these numbers show up in your catalog for anything. They look like they have a chevy flange. The spacing is equal. The collectors had the adjustable primaries until someone welded them. Thats a hooker thing. They might be older from the 70s.
I’m with Jim,,,,are you certain they are Hooker ? All the old ones I ever saw had a Hooker medallion welded on the primary tube . Hedman had a lot of headers with bolt on collectors . And I believe you are correct,,,,that flange was mis stamped. It should be the same number flange on either side . Tommy
Story of my life. I wonder or suspect @squirrel is correct having vast knowledge of Hookers ... Maybe @racer-x needs a new order catalog?
They might not be hookers. Not all hookers came with the tag welded on. I have a set of tags. Not too many companies made the large tubes. I figured i would start there. If anyone has old header catalogs can you look up this number? Google searches are not working out.
My hooker competion plus headers (390 ford) are stamped on the collector tube .4 into one tube . Have a close look there .
