Ho Lee Shit!! We have centipedes but the biggest I’ve seen here is probably 2 1/2-3”long. That thing is creepy!
Considering where you live, it’s a good thing your visiting snake wasn’t a rattler. I just ran across a rattlesnake while sweeping the front walkway. He’s sleeping in the landfill now.

  9. Well after problem and problems and more problems finally got this truck to run and Drive, took it out on a little Shakedown run into town and back.. Did well enough Had to turn around once for a little more water in the rad was running a little warm, What does one expect it only 105 outside at the time.

    maiden voyage

I tell ya.. It is different driving one of these old beasts.. And not much room in the cab being 6ft and the truck is chopped and channeled..

  10. Most of the summer heat is now finally gone, Still doing 5-11.s at work so by time I get home to freaking tired to work on the hotrod...

I did get the bed body work finished, Went to paint last weekend but we had rain on saturday and all day Sunday, Only place I can paint is in my garage. Just cover things up and wet the floor down real good with a couple exhaust fans pointed out the bottom of the door.. So needless to say couldnt put the hotrod outside with some bare metal and exposed engine.. ANother week goes by and this Morning was NICE ! even a bit chilly taking my Puppy out for his walk..

Just curious. Does that mix have a "flattening agent" in it ? I expected to see more glitter from the mini flake.

Flattening Agent is like putting mud in water so it is not clear

The real question is how much dog hair is in the paint.

The last time that I painted a car with a dog in the room I ended up with a green dog.

  18. Finally a bit more done.. Got colour on the doors and cleared.
Was going to do the roof of the cab at the same time be it as it is the wind was blowing like a mofo outside so I couldnt paint outside this morning... Probably will have to wait till next weekend, Got the 4 day weekend !

Will do the cab in 2 sections the roof then tape that off once paint is off and then the rest of the cab.

YES it is a small cab but it is what I have always done, Dont feel like bumping into wet paint trying to get the center of roof...

I see the mint mini flake in the door pic. I'm anxious to see it in the sun.

  23. It does look white but I figured that was the light. I really like the black firewall with the silver body.
