Ready to start on a few things after waiting for my OT car to get back on the road.

Made a new sending unit gasket as suggested by other's on the HAMB out of 1/8" rubberized cork.
worked out great. No more seeping of gas making a stink in the garage.
Was not on the list but good to get it done and glad there was no need to drop the tank.

Well, I guess this is it sold the Nomad and ir was headed to Texas Saturday Night
Not sure what will be next, it was a good run and saved a cool car form the scrap heap.

Thanks for all of you who followed the build and helped me figure things out.

Wow, that was fast. I guess once you let it go you can't catch feelings over what happens with it.

It's all good, ... Nice to know it is now in a part of the country where it can be enjoyed all year.
Sounds like the new owner was very happy to find one and really likes the car as built:cool:

  8. Wow...that didn’t take long. Hopefully the new owner will enjoy it for a while.

Just noticed this build has over 100K views, since it started in September 2011:rolleyes:
Guess it was a good run, perhaps a fellow HAMB'er will spot it in SoCal and post a picture.
thanks again for those who encouraged me along the way.
