I may have posted some of these before…
1950 Ford convertible and then 1952 Ford ranch wagon. Both family cars that I and the family used to ride around in. Starting in 1955 my dad had a Volvo and then a 57 Fiat and a 59 thames window van. he didn’t have any more foreign cars after that for a long time. In the mid-60s he had some mid 50s Pontiacs and then a couple of 51 Chevy’s and then a bunch of 64-65 Falcons and one 66 Mustang.
and the tucker… my dad is in the front luggage area playing around as a hood ornament. it came into the body shop for a paint job… he was offered that car at $2000 in the early 50’s. shudda. cudda. wooda…

 

I agree, lots of places to see recent builds. Nice as those are, this is where we go to see old photos of cars and racing and family and friends.... and life as it used to be.

 

Actually, the pic posted in post #1 is a recent photo. Modern pics run all the way through the thread. There are other threads specifically about racing, family, and 'life as it used to be'.
