When I was in 9th grade, there was one with a 322'' Buick /'38 Century trans swap running around town. Nobody made fun of it just 'cause it wasn't a Ford.

Looks like a bumper crop of period dirt...don't forget to save it because it makes a great companion next to period air in the tires...:D

It actually looks like an Aussie model of Coupe and it's not...

Congrats @choptop40, you mentioned gasser but are you also Custom minded?

  11. A lot of vehicles I once considered ugly have grown on me. Take '38-'39 Ford trucks. You either love or hate that front end. After owning my '38 for 55 years, I've grown to love it. I used to think '60 Fords were ugly, now they are my favorite of the '60-'64 big Fords. I like that Nash. They were well-designed cars for their time. Suppose for a moment that Fords were lumped in with other makes as "non-Nashes." I like it. If you like it and can buy it, build it.

Hey @Stogy , I think you hit on something here. ;)
If I pull some dust from my vacuum cleaner, I could sell it on Epay as part of a "Sell Your Car as a Barn Find" kit. Of course the "Kit" would include a mouse nest and some raccoon poop...I"M GONNA GET RICH...:D

Happy for you that you found a pre-war fat fendered coupe.
    Envious, even.

I agree. I always thought the 38/9 was ugly too but I've driven my 39 every day for 17 years and its looks ok now :)
