It's my dads last hotrod build again, that's what he said( 5 hotrods ago). He's got to where he won't drive them anymore but loves to build them. He's 87 years old and it seams like I'm the one doing all the work now, between my cars and trucks now his. For those who know him it's not a 1932 ford these time. I'll put up pics along the way, so this is what he is starting with all original 1929 ford truck. 20190720_181947.jpg 20190720_181931.jpg

We got in touch with Cory at Rjays speed shop, for a new frame. Dad had a all chrome front end from so/cal. He has a S10 rear end and croy is sending ladder bars and coil overs for the rear. Brake pedal and power booster, all brake lines easy to deal with Rjays IMG_20200917_112719194.jpg IMG_20200917_085618755.jpg IMG_20200917_112732114.jpg IMG_20200917_085623125.jpg speed shop

  8. That's cool Barry, hard to Imagine your dad in a Model A, ever since I have known he has been a Deuce guy, I'm sure he has a lot of ideas.

Tell him I said hello and I'm looking forward to seeing the truck, BTW, we are planning on going to the Cherokee Rod Run this years instead of Pigeon Forge. HRP

Love it, you're never too old to build a hotrod. Just my honest opinion.
    Good luck, Ron.

What if the battery was tucked in the crossmember of the frame, opposite the brake booster? There should be a couple inches under the floor where it could even stick up nestled into the subframe so it doesn't stick down too low.

    The truck is close too…

Awesome, I love it. I hope I'm able to sit up and build model cars at 87 let alone real ones!

Since Dad is building/not driving, I sure hope you're taking him out for a spin every now and then!?

Good for your Dad building at his age. I removed a few posts showing the engine. EFI and modern engines are off topic.
