The latest video from Irontrap Garage is of the 19th annual Jalopyrama show. Your coupe is shown right at the beginning and also at 10 minutes 20 seconds; the Buick is shown at 10 minutes 58 seconds.

Did you remove any metal from the inside of the rocker cover to clear the oil feed elbow. I even had to trim metal off the elbow on one of mine..

Damn, the wheels & tires are perfect! Details?
You've got the correct tapered hoops...what's the widths? The backs look to be Cadillac or Buick? Fronts, '49 Ford?
Slicks, Towel City? 8" or 9"?

The tires are towel city 28.5 x 8. I wish they came in 7” wide . I had tow city ship them to diamondback to do a custom whitewall on the inside and out .

The fronts are 56 Chevy just reverse
The backs are part 59 buick and part 56 Chevy hoop mated together to make a 8” wide rim , with 56 Chevy centers .

Another great, long build post. I have a secret love for sixes. I started building a killer 250, but that’s now part of the dream pile. That cross flow head was ahead of its time. Lovely.

Stunning work as always! I'm glad that when Matt from Iron Trap Garage visited, he made a video. It was nice to see the digs. Where are the extra plug wires going to go?

I like the rugged, industrial looking look of the ribbed cylinder block; evocative of the cast iron architecture of the age of steam. The casting would look great ground and painted.
