Hello please help what is the thread on a 37/9 winsheild frame where the hinge attatches to the actual frame is it a countersunk screw is it a domed head screw what is its length under the head - max anyone have a pic of what they look like? thank you please confirm for me that that a hinge from a 37 pickup fits a 38

Stainless UNF Raised Countersunk Slotted & Phillips Machine Screws. 10-32 & 1/4" | eBay iI have bought these. so its a 10 guage - wire guage 32 = tpi? 3/16?? no idea I was worried about the length and cracking the glass is it the same thread where the hinge goes together and as the hinge screws into the body 10-32 1/4 5/16 3/8 UNF SOCKET BUTTON HEAD SCREWS ALLEN BOLTS BLACK HIGH TENSILE | eBay bought these = wrong?
If it is just 10-32 screws, you should be able to get them from the hardware store. I get mine from the Home Depot but there must be something in England.
^^^^ often difficult to find those imperial ones in the metric countries, - I’ve had difficulty with finding that size. Have to go to a specialist bolt supplier.
Sort of related, and going from memory, the hinge mounting screws are 12 x 24 tpi. Which is not a very common size used much now. That would be tougher to find outside of USA.
I am confused the hinge is in two parts the hinge plate bolts to the body - waht size the moving hinge bolts to the plate - what size the moving hinge bolts to the frame - needs to be countersunk - what size thanks
