Thought I'd post a couple pics of the finished product... got my hood and leather side straps on, just needs some floors to be finished.

Here is my build thread I started a while back... need to update it:
    https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...rd-1936-3-window-coupe-chopped-build.1217993/

1936 Ford 3 Window Coupe chopped by Mengestwinspeedshop. 274 Gene Winfield louvers. Frenzel Supercharged 59a Flathead that was a brand new military preserved engine with duel Stromberg 97s, Stromberg electronic ignition, Navarro 75cc heads, Isky Cam and lifters, and Fenton Headers.
Car is completely brand new from head to toe, top to bottom, other then the body and banjo rear end. T-5 Manual Trans, Open Driveline, hydraulic clutch... She's a runner and sounds and runs awesome!!

  15. Pretty damn nice car! Is that an engine that H&H built? What are the specs inside of it? Do you get any real boost out of the Frenzel? I seem to remember that very little boost was generated . . . am curious. Great job on the whole car.

cool looking coupe, whats the history on the crate motor? the French ones are still around but this looks like the uncovering of an interesting US military surplus motor...
We used to find NOS ex surplus 21 stud motors in the UK in similar looking wooden crates but they havent turned up for years now.

I dont have much info on it... my 21 stud blew up and a customer came into the shop asking what was going on with that motor on the floor then said he has one in the crate and the rest is history... I will try and get some more info since it does add to the coolness of the build.
    Thank you!
They are only ugly once! lol
