How many of you open up the Speedway catalogs that show up in the mail? If you're like me, you might only open it if you are looking for a specific part or to maybe browse a little. It's not all uncommon for one to arrive and it could be a month before I open it. The latest one is a little different. They asked @jho and I to do a photo shoot for an article in the catalog. Pretty cool!
There are also articles posted online - Nick’s Model A Roadster (speedwaymotors.com) Jason’s Model A Coupe (speedwaymotors.com)
And a podcast - ours starts at 36:40 - A Chevelle & Two Road Warrior Model A's: Customer Car Feature | Episode 15 (speedwaymotors.com)
Oh cool! I had planned to flip threw it tonight as I noticed some new stuff when I flipped it quickly and wondered what else I might find. the podcast, which sounds like Joe who is also a hamber was hosting, was a fun listen. the last catalog had a very traditional pair featured as well. A w block powered roadster and 50 merc custom. Believe Tim’s hemi powered A roadster was featured a couple back too. Really digging the bonus spreads/features they’ve been doing. Congrats on yours I’ll read it tonight !
Ok. So this week we're not bashing Speedway. The moderators here should publish a schedule. It's kinda hard to keep up. Nice job on the pics.
you're right, got it yesterday and never opened it. last one i ordered from had jeff norwell on the cover.
@jho 's model A has been on the back of my Goodguys windshield stickers in a Speedway ad at two events this year. Great press for you guys and your cool rods!
Damn. Mine went straight to the recycle bin. I should have flipped through. Congratulations on the coverage.
For some reason, I can't even get speedway to send me catalog. I think the last good catalog I got was PAW..
yeah it went from like one a week to nothing for over a year. I called and asked for one and now one shows up every couple months.
Congratulations !!! Now you can post in the thread on "your car in a magazine " You've finally made it .
This happened to me last fall. Tried to give the Schiemanns the credit they deserve. Congrats. on your article and pod cast. Gary
