Hey I just wanted to post pics of the Hudson I bought. We fell in love with it and decided to sell the Mercury.
    It has the 308, Twin H, DG200 auto, A/C, P/S.

Congratulations on that purchase of such a clean looking car. Twin H power and lots of chrome trim.
We had a few 54's here but all 4 doors unless a personal import.

My wife had a 1954 Hudson Stick shift as her daily driver in the 70's. Great snow car.
I had several 52-53 Hornet coupes.
    Nice road cars.
    You won't miss the Mercury.

  13. Never understood why anybody would go to the trouble of chopping a Merc when they could just buy a Hudson. The Hudson looks chopped from the factory. Great cars. They ruled NASCAR back in the day. Very comfortable car, great cruiser.

Man, that’s Sharp! Ruled NASCAR in the early years and some of the lower stock classes at the drags.

    Great looking Hudson!!
If it was mine, the only thing I would do is get it a little closer to the ground.
    Enjoy it!

I had a Hudson back in 1956 before I could legally drive. I paid 20 bucks for it and thought I got ripped off. When I lived in Daytona, a class mates dad ran a Hudson in the Daytona race. Later I realized that was the car Smokey got his start on. I used to see his truck around town and it said “ Best Damn garage in Town” . I remembered it as Damn was considered a bar curse word back then!
