We stopped by their overnight hotel in Altoona, Iowa last evening. Saw the cars in your pics and a few other locals. Chatted with the owner of the new 32 3-window for a while. You can tell he was having fun on the car's maiden voyage.
Where is the rest of the Rolling Bones crew? I don't see Ken's 509c '34 3 Window coupe? These guys usually travel in 10-15 Bones built cars in the group.
Like they said the group isn’t always 100% together. Trying to keep 10-30 Cars running… let’s say a totally recommended rate of speed… is like herding cats. The group always ends up broken into a couple smaller groups and every one knows the end destination point of that days lunch or hotel. the videos of the 406 coupe sound insane. Such a cool group of hotrods
Looks like a fun but looking at most of their road trip threads they only take and post photos of their own rigs here, there and everywhere rather than posting about what cars they saw.
I don't know when the last time you drove west across Nebraska was but I can promise you their cars are the only things worth taking a photo of lol
Awesome, c'mon man! I just did that drive and passed through on July 3rd and it was awesome... fireworks everywhere!
In the sand hills of western NE, if you want to pee you just stop in the middle of the road and pee. no traffic, just like God intended.
The route/ stops were posted a week or two ago but it must have fallen off the first page or two kinda quick
Wouldn't that be cool to see those cars cruising through town. I did some Nebraska travelling in 2018 in the Hudson and followed some of the Lincoln Hwy through Grand Is, Kearney(Car Museum there) and other small towns as we headed west.
