Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by ct1932ford, Jul 26, 2021.

  1. We finally had some nice roadster weather this past Saturday. So I took my date to the Sycamore drive in in Bethel. Burgers and Old Cars! I have never seen a front spring set up like this. Anyone know anything about it.

Love seeing the King Midget side by side with a Crosley Hotshot!

Its called feel every bump in the road:rolleyes:, that car has been around for a long time, late 70's I think. If still the same owner he's probably a great grandfather..:D

I'd suspect a straight axle might be better, than what appeared to be dropped.

Just seems like a lot of caster with that setup. Just wondering why it was done that way.

I remember looking at and studying the front end on that car years ago .
To me it is a scary piece of “engineering “.
I used to attend that cruise quite often when I lived up there . Great cars and great food , I miss it.

Is it bad I'd rather drive the Crosley than the "gasser"?
