Damn sorry to hear it. Butch was a straight shooter, a little grumpy. Cool guy, he'll be missed.

 

Rest in peace..practically gave me a 3 speed shifter...he was a gentleman.

Suddenly and sadly we are all once again a little poorer due to the loss of fellow HAMBer whose prescence was always a positive on here. Rest in Peace. You will be missed by many.

 

I too, am sad to read of his passing. Always felt he had an excellent grip on ‘55- ‘57 engine, trans and driveline specs and tricks. Godspeed sir. Condolences to his friends and family.

 

Aww' man .. one of my favorites here. That sucks, big time. Dyed in the wool, Chevy' man, with part numbers, notations, histories, assembly, & disassembly directions.

Helped me immensely putting together some just outside HAMB criteria 2.05 angle plug heads.

The HAMB will miss Butch & his noise, far more than anyone will ever miss me. No reply needed. That is 100% TRUTH.

God bless that man, his family, & all of his friends. Gone way too soon.

I was in the USAF in early "68 stationed at Paine Field in Everett where he lived. We talked several times about possible mutual acquaintances but never got far with it. Just too far back.

Sorry to hear of his passing. Rest in Peace.

I am saddened by this news. Butch was an awesome font of knowledge and he was more than happy to relay that knowledge. I learned something every time that he posted. He will be greatly missed. His family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers. Godspeed Butch.

 

This is one of those,”say it ain’t so moments”.The last year or so has not been kind to our car hobby. All I can add is, if you have a chance to meet one of your hero’s, walk up, look ‘em in the eye and offer your hand, finish that project, buy that dream car, live it while you can, the risk is less than the regret. Farewell, Butch your presence will be missed.
