Mark I have pic's of his Delivery BUT will wait and see what his wife & daughter decide to do with all his "treasures". I always offered to take picks for him so he could have an AVATAR or sell something with pic's but he just didn't care!

Thanks for letting us know. As others have said, I always enjoyed seeing Butch contribute to a thread. Seemed like a nice guy, and very knowledgeable. He’ll be missed here.

He always was willing to help. When Raginpin3apple was doing his car Butch sent him clutch linkage, shifter and throttle linkage just for the shipping cost.

He will be missed.

Butch was a great guy...in a post I had identified that I had just picked up a Super T10 4 speed that I was going to bolt to a 283, (Butch's magic numbers)..a couple days later I got a PM from Butch offering me a Borg and Beck clutch and pressure plate at pretty much scrap metal pricing. I stopped in to see (and meet) Butch on my way to and from the Portland Swap Meet. He showed me around ( including his 56 sedan delivery) and we told some stories. I ended up also buying a new set of forged 283 pistons from his stash as well (also HAMB friendly priced to help a fellow HAMBER out).

He was a gentleman, willing to share and pass on his vast knowledge. Sorry to hear he's passed. I'll miss his wisdom.

 

Butch was a great guy and I always enjoyed our talks about the York Junior Stock Shows.

RIP Butch. I, too, will miss his posts. I was catching up on the HAMB last night, and read a couple of older posts that had come back up towards the top, and read his contributions. When I first saw this thread, I thought it couldn't be, since I had just read some of his stuff last night. You will be missed, Butch. Godspeed to you, sir.
