Went to the Puyallup WA good guys car show last weekend. This color really caught my attention and I really want to know which color blue this is. I waited around for awhile to see if the owner would show up but no success. It looks slightly darker in this picture. Any help with which blue this is?

    thanks in advance! 588B62F8-CDD4-45A9-A268-E38C66CF4EB4.jpeg

Thank you. I’m looking through HoK catalog right now and I’m finding some pretty good matches.

That’s what it looked like to me, the color coat was pretty translucent. I wonder if this was shot like a “candy.”

  7. Might could show the pic to the local paint store guy.
Look at some chips in person.
A decent paint store will have custom colors there to look at.

I keep seeing a late model box with wheels around town that has a factory color that is real close to that that spins my wheels every time I see it and I am not a big fan of blue. I've only had five blue cars in the past 58 years.

There are so many variables to color. As a painter, I say go to your local jobber or body shop and pick a color. The odds of finding that exact color from a picture is pretty slim to small.

Back when you could paint a car for $65 worth of high quality materials, that would have been '56 Dodge ''Royal Blue Metallic''.

I’m visiting the paint store today to look at paint chips. I was so convinced on doing black everything, but this color changed my mind. I will report back with what I find!
