I’m considering building a radical custom roadster as the ones I’m these pictures and would like to see some more if there are any. i
hope that you have the skills and $$ to pull it off - search here for threads by members that have built some wild one of a kind rides
I think one of the positive key design features is narrowing at the cowl, otherwise it looks too bulky in that area. The 59 Olds in the second pic along with Bipolar and the burgundy one (third from the last) are examples that have that feature and they look right to me. I've always had an interest in these. The wilder the better!
I have thought for a long time that these could be cool. Or….. they could turn out like a load of crap. It’s all in the execution. There’s already one or two in this thread I would not have. Plan it really well. Learn some computer rendering skills or hire that done. This is either a win or fail deal. Lack of planning on this can be disastrous.
Some of these look killer !!! Others look like they should be killed Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance ! this is one ya need pen to paper, and plan plan plan. Run it through the computer, photoshop , draw it etc. Real easy to make a killer custom or a bloated rodent rod pile of I dunno what
I'm in the "other times" camp. It is similar to dogs screwing, it is a fact of life and I like puppies but I don't wat to look at it.
I have not seen Ian on TV for a while? I enjoyed watching him work and making something out of nothing most of the time. I found it interesting that he used Harbor Freight Tools for so many projects. Great show, but I cannot find anymore. Jimbo
Ian (Full Custom Garage) is behind the PayWall at Motor Trend (same place Roadkill went). Hopefully he gets renewed for another season. Russ
