    I don't know, maybe I'm a bit bias but can't beat the 59. Screenshot_20210725-135632_Gallery.jpg

I also would prefer the 59 front clip to the 60 clip that’s on my 59.

Beggars can’t be choosers, though, and the last 57 I have seen locally was about thirty years ago in a junkyard.

A proper conversation entails locating 57 fenders, hood, parking lights, gravel pan, grill, and headlight buckets at the least.

Don't get me wrong, I like the quad headlight models, just want something different. I think the '57 headlight buckets look a lot like the later model, like a '65. I want to do something with a custom grill. Speaking of custom, turns out this is a photoshop, but I think it is damn doable. Chero.jpg

Funny that someone did all of that work and they're using a stick to hold the hood up.

50’s Fords are well known to be weak in the hood springs.

I think the 53-56 f100s had the hinge issues. I was just making an observation. You can see all of the fab work under the hood. Firewall, radiator support and more are not factory. Why not repair the hinges?

57-60's have hood hinge spring problems because the hoods weigh so much.

Somethin about this little truck speaks to me. It’s not perfect, but has potential. Yes, Cragar SS wheels are traditional. They were introduced in 1964 and sold by the truckload. Mid-sixties was when I was impressionable young kit. they were right on, far out and groovy. 8446D2E7-BE33-4BE7-9374-304C13584992.jpeg B2F9F2E4-FFA8-430C-A051-AE00281692D8.jpeg

  10. I ended up making a wooded adapter for my engine hoist to help with that hood!
