I did notice them, I built them for the front and back, made cardboard patterns, bent the edges down over a 55 Gal Drum. Here's a link to all the pictures of that tub.

Car is gorgeous. Did it just get done.

 

It has been done for about 5 yrs.
I likd it better when it was in the Ruby Maroon and natural leather.

 

Beautiful either way. What are the wheel covers and trim rings from?

 

On the black version they are 50 Lincoln ( I have a set here on the HAMB for sale). On the Ruby Maroon version they are 16 inch, aftermarket full moons that sold in the ads of the little books like Honk and Hop Up in the late 40 and early 50's.

1939 Ford tub with good stance, chrome trim on the runningboards, one Appleton early style hubcaps and the very rare reversed fog lights, go figure the gas mileage improvement. Nice car.
