  1. The advisory is for travel to/from City of Chicago. If you've been vaxd, you are welcome at Byron.

Nah, just don’t go to Chicago, Byron is plenty far away and not covered under the mayors restrictions.

Thanks. I was just about to update that I called the track and the lady I spoke with confirmed that no Covid-related restrictions are in place at Byron. Good to know for sure. Leaving at 4 AM! :D

A friend and I did a 12 Hr. round trip to Byron yesterday (Saturday) to the Glory Days drags. Well worth the trip. Looking forward to the 2022 edition!

Too busy enjoying the sights and sounds to take any photos though. Sorry.

  7. Dad and I had a great time in spite of spending most of saturday trying to fix a freeze plug that poped out of the Hemi in his coupe. Sorry for the mess on the starting line for those racing behind him.

My son took his 1962 dragmaster front engine dragster and after 2 years of trying made his first 8 second pass--not bad for a 327--he and a friend were the last 2 cars down the track on friday--had a great time and there were a ton of great looking cars there.............wish the track was closer, we would run there all the time

I had a good time there. I spent some time talking to Eric and Rex, great people to talk to. Both cars ar fun to watch go down the track. I ended up with a broke posi so n great times out of the truck, but still had a great time.

  10. We had a great time talking to you Tony! We have to run at either Ghost rods WIR or the Fallout.
