Is that how they attach wheel covers in Australia? Looks like a roadster... that'll be hard to leave alone while the other half dozen projects get attention!

I think that’s how it’s done. A stick from down under, right?

Fortunately three of the four projects that are ahead of it are nearing completion. So hopefully we’re looking at less than a year to be on this one and another one because that’s how I work. ADD

Not progress on hot rods or customs, but getting closer to being back on what matters. Hoping to move in to the shop this weekend. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

The Moose is really great at getting the ideas from head into pictures. A little tweaking from here and I think I have my mind made up. Ute Lincoln.jpg

It is a design study if my ute would be based on a K series 36 Lincoln as opposed to a Ford. An upscale ute if you will. Now to scale everything accordingly for a working mans budget in the pre war era. A carpenter who works on the houses of the elite and has seen the good life and has a utilitarian Ford that he wants to class up a bit.

Well, it looks more like a shop all the time. My last week working full time in town is this week. The 47 was supposed to be a quick flip but morphed a bit. Hoping it is either moved along or a “customer” car soon. Official shop opening party is October 30. Live band 4:30-8:30 with food early on. Adults only after 6 as my friends may not remain kid friendly. Definitely better living conditions than the camper was. Even a place to hose the dogs off in the shower after their adventures in the pond. It’s a bit more finished now than these pics but you get the idea 3E60640A-AE56-4E09-9148-B5997627F822.jpeg 84AC0387-116E-4BD0-92B0-FB439415FFC4.jpeg FD0DD656-73A6-4175-80D9-675FA08B69D4.jpeg 3FF73A2B-8F69-46CA-B4DC-B6B811A91B80.jpeg 687AE3C3-6ED7-4A91-8EE3-B0D657EF4493.jpeg

@justabeater37 have you and Jim Sibley ever met? I thought of him as I was looking at your shelves of metallic joy...

Jim's a bit more Hotrod minded but the way you fellas envision and fabricate is certainly something to behold from a member standpoint...thanks for taking the time to share the goodtimes with us...;)

Looks like jewelry for 85 years old. The temp tube isn’t even cut. F73B27B6-E8F3-4926-B118-13E1BC780F45.jpeg B506D93E-13D6-4767-BC80-EB1ACFF09679.jpeg 4B18612A-7CD4-4ACB-BB46-48C2353D0140.jpeg 0CB94D89-7A27-4C73-BB0C-F4F6DC2CD31A.jpeg 4AD3B56F-EF9D-4B00-AAF1-7B8E19E8D497.jpeg

Never met him but we do seem to have the same sadistic ideas of saving things from scrap.

Only 3 more days of full time employment and then half days with the rest devoted to making a go at this shop thing.
