Hi All, I have been told that there is a technique or a product that will raise the windshield and rear window gasket so that you can paint under them thus letting paint flow under the gasket rather than right up to the edge of the gasket. How are folks doing that? Thanks, Steve
3m lifting tape. Half of it is hard plastic, the other half is pliable adhesive. Slide the hard half under the rubber and fold the adhesive half onto and over the top . I prefer to pull the glass though.
I put wire under there but rope probably better. Windshield is chopped so dont want to get into replacing gasket.. Thanks Steve
If the rubber is pliable then careful removal will not require replacing it. Patience is your friend.
