Mounted on the frame rail where most guys would mount a Vega steering box. Doesn't matter how loud the horn is anyway. By the time I figure I need to use it, the other car is long gone.

Since the fender ducts are removed, I mounted a pair of GM hi/low note horns behind the headlight screen.

I used a old pair of trumpet horns under the floor of my T and they were so loud you could feel a vibration in the steering wheel.

Before I got the seat upholstered I sat on a piece of foam, those dual trumpet horn tickled my ass when I laid down on the horn.

  6. I kinda want to put one under the tail pan for the tailgaters. Happens way more often than someone needing a toot from the front.

  7. Might be a good idea Dan. HRP

I don't have a horn in my 40. would like something loud, maybe like a locomotive, if that's legal

  11. You are in luck, there is a train horn that is small but big sound at 300DB Super Loud Electric horn that is 12 volt, and less than 15 bucks. HRP

  13. Stock 32 horn on the coupe. No name yet for the coupe although I used plenty of four letter words on it this past Winter.
Especially when I broke my finger on the rear spring.
    Open to ideas:rolleyes:

  14. On the Mysterion I put an AOOOGA horn in the nose piece. This is what I imagine Ed would have done.

When I built my '32 Roadster I mounted a Ford trumpet horn on the radiator support rods above the engine. Seemed like a great place and is quite loud. IMG_0235.jpg

a six volt 53 Ford horn with twelve volts going threw it is my personal favorite. You’d think a barge was coming your way haha

I mount my horns right on the front of the hood, just like Boss Hog.

I mounted a loud decibel horn inside the grille area on my 34 and used a 36 horn cover to, well, cover it.

Mounted it from the back side

Liked it so much I did a similar thing to my 41 PU.

Put a couple of 50’s 6volt Spartan horns on our 50 Chevy. Really loud on 12 volts. Had to increase the fuse size after the first try. Trying to find something louder for my avatar car right now.

The Squeaker or Meeper...:D...is just under the Driver Side floor near the Master Cylinder...to to boxed frame...

I think someday a Caddy or Locomotive tone Baritone might be fitting...

Horns were an under hood orchestra of Outta My Way with a musical note...

    Let's see...

    0_20210629_055337.jpg

...installed on inside of frame near directly below the down pipe flange...

I period this Hotrod 1963 and that sound is worthy of a bigger notable sound...

Hey, I like the roof of your sport coupe. Do you have a build thread on that roof?

I have an 89 Caddy setting in the shed that has a very loud factory horn! Sounds like you are about to meet a tugboat when it's hooked.

All mine are stock in the stock location. I guess not much imagination on my part.
