    Dang. Super cool. Love it.

Just a tip, you'll more than likely need a baffle in the torque tube if the angle remains as in during mock up. The gear oil will want to climb out and then it will fill the trans leaving that too full and too little oil in the rear.

Tardell use to made a baffle that you slip into the rear part of the torque tube, but judging by your fabrication skills, shouldn't be too difficult for you to make up either.

Please keep us posted. This is one neat hot rod.

And now another reason to sell everything and take up a new hobby. Between you and Marty Strode I'm thinking that I have no talent and need a hobby like bird watching, but even then Marty has us beat!

Are you going to use that like a wood positive or are you going to do a 'lost PLA' casting?

We are going to 3d print the "wood positives" and cores boxes. We tried to do a small lost PLA casting and it didn't burn out cleanly.

  14. Lakes modifieds are so much fun to build! My buddy was updating his 36 chevy pickup and gave the cast off axles/springs etc. I did it as an underslung with a 250 chevy six/T-5. Sold it before I was able to drive it and another buddy finished it up with a 235. Rockysmodified.jpg [ATTACH=ful

Yeahhh, that is a lot of plastic to try to burn out. I think you would end up needing to use the special casting specific filament to get results that big. I hope you document the process you use; I have a 3D printer too and I'd like to see!
