So I'm moving up to Kansas City from Texas and was hoping to get a little insight to for what they have for hot rod shops and speed shops and even race shops up in that area. as moving to a new area of the country and just want to know what they got going on and who's there other than Pete and Jake's
Vintage Fabrication - Independence, MO Hot Rod Express- Independence, MO Restomod Store - Lee's Summit, MO Tallants Hot Rod - N. Kansas City, MO All of these locations are suburbs of Kansas City. Several weekly cruises around the area and there's the Heartland Drag strip in Topeka, KS (60 mi). If I think of others I'll post more. Welcome to the area and give me a shout when you get here.
Awesome to know I'm going to be right over off redbrook we were looking at the overland Park area and my wife's working for Avila so we'll be right in that neck of the woods what cruise nights are around there
There are monthly cruise nights in Belton, Liberty, and Parkville. There are also some weekly cruises. You can search Kansas City cruise nights for the dates.
Before 2020 you could Find a cruise night or event every single night from March to November. The scene here is massive and broad reaching. on top of the mentioned there are probably a hundred more. From kcautoworx, procharger and Aeromotive there’s no shortage of hotrod action here. If your into it it exists here in mass. There are guys making a living knocking out louvers and dozens of top tier pin stripers such as bob bond. Be safe, be social, and you see everything from zillion dollar low riders, worlds fastest street cars - I think he did something like a 5 second quarter mile in his door slammer pickup?- era correct choppers, and restored barris customs racking up the miles. I’m not a fan of Facebook but there are a handful Of group pages that list and post gatherers really regularly.
