Are those just the ripple caps Moon sells? Maybe?

 

Thanks K13. I would never question the judgement of someone that talented, (read all of his creations.) I'm not a fan of the green paint. Its okay but I picture it in a black very shiny finish.

 

Maybe the centers, but look how deep they are. Until I learn otherwise I am guessing the cut the center out of a rippled cap and mounted it to the back edge of a deep beauty ring, but I also won't be surprised when some HAMBer says they are something I just forgot or don't know about.

I can't decide if this reminds me more of a real late '50s ride or someone's idea of
a '50s ride. From what we see in the pics, besides the grille and skirts, it doesn't
seem to have even the bare minimum of semi-custom touches. I'm not
putting it down, it caught my attention and looks good.

 

I remember when this car hit the scene. I liked it a lot. I read that article a dozen times.

 

52 Ford with 50 Mercury chopped roof, 55 Ford front fender grafted on, 51 Merc extended quarters. Getting grill and bumpers sorted
