Event Coverage Out of Site Drags 2021

The out of site drags is being held this Thursday through Saturday. This will be the third year of the event put on by the brew city gassers. Its held at the legendary union grove great lakes dragaway in wisconsin. There are over 300 pre registered cars. There is a nitro cackle fest along with a swap meet and car show. I will be posting pics and updates through out the weekend. You dont want to miss this event.

Today was a bit wet this morning but the track was dried up about 2 o’clock and then it was go time I want to give the brew city gassers a big thanks for working so hard to put on a great drag race also want to thank Brian Kohlman aka racerx for helping solve an ignition issue so I could make some passes n the poison iveys dodge afx this weekend and I even got the best pass ever out of it but it wouldn’t have happened with the help of Howard krull for loaning me a distributor and Brian for helping gather up the rest of the ignition so I could pull wheelstands and good low et’s here are the only pics I was able to take and these were took while I was heading to the staging lanes they are pretty terrible but pics none the less if you didn’t make it out make plans for next year this is a fantastic event put on by a great group

 

I had a great time, and met alot of new people. I got to race a few guys that I have wanted to in the past. IT was a great event and I will be back next year. Does anyone know who the photographers were?

He sure did and got a great deal on them.

 

Yep and I think they are going to clean up nice. Im changing out my blast cabinet to glass beads today I hope. I need to get new axles to put them on so we will see when that happens, if they have them in stock. Funny part is, they weigh the same as the ones I have now, I was hoping to save a few pounds, but cool is cool.

The track photographer allen was there. He lives down the road from me. I can ask him if he got pics of your truck. Mashie from Pennsylvania and Dennis Mothershed from iowa also took pics. I will reach out to them also.

 

I knew Mashie was taking pics and Dennis too as I talked with them both but I don’t know the track photographer

 

Thanks guys, but do they have a website. Saturday evening I was starting to really get some good starts. I had 2 people ask if I was pulling front tire during 1 2 shifts, I have no idea but it was running good. Just in case anyone is wondering it drove home fine with no problems.
