Pulled the body off. Credit to the YouTuber Puddin's Fab Shop for the idea. IMG_20210531_111319874.jpeg IMG_20210531_111334422.jpeg IMG_20210531_114635212.jpeg IMG_20210531_124905825.jpeg IMG_20210531_124908186.jpeg

Amazingly clean, love your new shop!
My previous '54 Ford Coupe ended up being a body-off project, (didn't plan to go that far!)
'Extra car' deal, got it in a parts trade...Bare chassis got 454 BBC w/Muncie M21, fast job. no body in the way.
Calif. car had NO rust in floors, factory paint underneath.
Easy work in very busy fabrication/specialty shop...(Porsche/BMW and street roadster fab)

  4. No, sorry. At one time I did a short "webinar" or discussion on how I reversed the original '49 spindle supports but I think it went away with the first itineration of the HAMB.

  5. Hey Rocky, That's why I posted all my information on my own website (a photo hosting site called Smugmug) so I won't be subject to "somebody" whacking my information.. plus, at 77 years old, the "next" owner will need to know why/how I did such crazy crap building "The Judge".. The OP has been to my site, I'm pretty sure..

I like steel wheels on 1960 and down cars... Those Sombreros look so nice on that car. I would also like chrome reverse wheels..

Meh, it's not a big deal to me. I know it's a sedan, you know it's a sedan.

I would have preferred to keep it, but my pockets aren't that deep.

I bought a kit from Jimenez Brothers in Riverside California. Front clip, two link, and all of the parts.

Any ideas on how adjust doors forward? IMG_20220504_194453780_HDR.jpeg IMG_20220504_194443352.jpeg IMG_20220504_194511966.jpeg IMG_20220504_194517616.jpeg

Installed new window felt, door gaskets, and Bear Claw door latches. It's a giant improvement, but gaps could be significantly better.

I put spacers behind the inside hinge screws….. probably not the best way and I haven’t got back to that in awhile. I’ve been patching floors and the trunk….. Mark

I tried the washer method. It helps but seems like there has to be a way.

I tried using a bottle jack and a 4x4 braced on the rear fender. It seems to help. I plan to move the metal 6 to 8 times over a couple of months
