You don't often see them done up that nice but I've seen a few around. These tend to be throwbacks to the wartime truck conversion era or builds made from cast offs. This one is super clean and I'd like to know more about it!

Here is one I saw at the Gathering of the Faithful back in 2018 here in MA:

    Hello,

Chevy trucks take a licking and just keeps on ticking. The license tags say it is registered and running. So, it is a parts runner for the neighborhood shop. One of many in this industrial complex in the coastal community. Or... a forgotten piece of automotive history relegated to a storage bin.

But, one thing that is upper most in everyone’s mind, whether in front of the brain, or pushed way back, is that “Rust Never Sleeps.” Being located in a coastal community within a block or two of the salt air also accentuates the spread and development. When the coastal fog comes rolling in in the late afternoon, it brings the dreaded salt infused air that doesn’t look too kindly on any metal surfaces. Let along a truck from the late 50s.

At least it is in one piece and running. It has a lot of nice stock accessories, but it is hard to fathom this cool truck just sitting for weeks on end. A few days in the body shop should become the “Emperor’s New Coat.”
