Some great art being posted this week! Thanks to all who take the time to post here. This is one that I originally striped in 2014 at a Billetproof show. The owner contacted me to ask if I could add some lettering to the doors.Here is the result. Not sure of the exact context of the name but it might have something to do with the Burt Reynolds/Dolly Parton movie.

Here's a recent Cartoon I did as a spoof on the origin of Heavy Metal. Sorry for the rough language but those who are familiar with the characters depicted know why this was necessary.

Out on the town taking pictures of my '39.

 

This took me back to Christmas 1971. My old man gave me two stock replacement
mufflers for my '63 Corvette. It was an easy pick for him. I needed them and he
worked for an exhaust and suspension parts distributor. When it came time to
replace them on my back on the gravel driveway, he didn't stick his head out of
the door.

 

Ah, the final one is the art pic and it's a fun one. Hope you don't mind
my eliminating the sign and roadside trash. You hit the sunset just right.

 

These pics are great! Beautiful vibrant colors and wonderful settings. Photoshop artist's love pics like these. As nice as they are I would love to see somebody like Bob (57 Corvette) or a few others on here bring the original era back to life on a couple of these. Some tasteful additions could render some really nice vintage or period type art. Of course only with your consent.

 

Great evening for a photo shoot with my niece and her daughter. The light was wonderful.


My niece Kyra is also the subject on one of Mark's @Jigger upcoming pieces.
