I am definitely enjoying following this build. You are doing the car justice.

...Love this shot with the Windshield looking like it's flat on the Roof...:D

    Laid back indeed...

  3. So with your race background and contacts will you be able to get a weight distribution figure front to back? That engine looks well set back 60/40? So exciting.

“Naw man I don’t think they sell those”

“oh sure they do, they sell the kit down at metal by the foot. You just have to cut it out and put it together”

    very cool man

  9. I drove my 34 over to Tdog's shop this evening to snoop around the 3 window coupe. I watched Tdog tig weld on his Olds scatter shield till I got bored and said.........."Lets go for a ride in my car" and we did. Listened to the quick change howl and we both shrugged our shoulders and said "I dunno". Did you guys know Tom has AIR CONDITIONING in his shop?!? tdog6_21frame.jpg tdog6_21welding.jpg

Blessed to have AC . More blessed to have Rocky and my Pops close to keep an eye on me. Don’t want to screw this car up .

Thank you , I use to work with some race car fabricators. They had two sayings written on the shop wall .

    1. Trust us with your Race car and your life . Not your money or your wife .

    2. Nothing is lighter then a hole !

She’s probably the only one that fits! Haha, great following along on this build after seeing the old photos float around for so long!

At 5’8” She does fit well. We set the seat and the column up for my buddy who is 6’4” or 6’5”he fits …. Will have to get creative with the throttle and brake pedal the scatter shield is a challenge .

I just had a vision of speed holed leg shields for both You and the Missus when you're in your Summers best heading out for an Ice Cream or refreshments...

I always marvel in the unique cabins of the many Hotrods that have come before us...was it or are you flooring it over with some riveted Aluminum framed plexiglass windows placed strategically to see the goods behind those panels
I might be a little Bias but The Rubber just seals the deal...Go T-Dog Go!
