Was 3-5 months back. In the thread someone posted a video of a fellow who put a line on the rocker arm (roller) then calculated valve lift, then adjusted the rocker nut to 1/2 the lift. I think he then adjust the push rod checker so the line was 90 degrees to the stud. Sound familiar? I thought I saved it, but can’t find it. I wanted to send it over to a friend who is starting a new engine build. It sure seemed simpler and more precise than marking the valve tip, as he’s never done it before and I figured it would simplify it for him. I also recall him marking the adjust nut, and how much to rotate it based on 7/16 or 3/8 studs and TPI Thanks
