Soon? I've turned into her bitch now :D
Good enough, i told her the benefit of owning our own upholstery shop, is we can recover it over and over until we get it right. But not bad for her 2nd bench. We, and i mean me, messed up a couple of patterns on the bolster, but hey, you should've seen my 2nd paint job lmao! o_O 20210613_203141.jpg

I haven't followed the whole thread so bare with me if mentioned before. Not a 57 or even 55-56 seat. It's what I've seen in Olds and Pontiacs of the era.

Sweet seat!! The white looks killer.

  9. I have no clue brother, it was in the car and this is the only tri five I've owned, so i just assumed it was the stock seat. It's uncomfortable as hell.

Not knocking it. I'd rather see that seat then what the new fangled fad being done to these car's today. It may not be a 57 Chevy seat, but those side cover are sweet. Guy's would kill for them.

  11. I guess it would be better if it had foam, but it'll work for now. Yeah i can't stand to see late model seats in an old car.

I was just about to ask what that seat is from. It's definitely period-correct, and it looks nice now all recovered, but it's not a Chevy seat. It's a custom anyway, so if it works, it works.

  25. Pulled the filter and cut it open, no metal, but a lot of sludge looking crap, like moly lube. Drained the oil, no metal. Gonna see if it was the filter, and put 20w50 in it. If that ain't it I'll pull the pan

  26. No it's an hei.
