Anybody have a crossover for Mallory YL distributor points condenser etc? Would rather buy standard, echlin or something if I can.

The way I see it is any ignition condenser will do, if it fits in the distrib. I have been running a Chevy condenser in my 72 Triumph Bonneville 10 years AND I run a NOS old 2 piece cap Mallory condenser on the outside of a modern mallory for 15 years.

I think @moriarty posted up something about Mallory part numbers, but don’t recall if there were cross references.

If the point material transfers from the negative to the positive point increase the capacity of the condenser. If the transfer is from the positive to negative point, reduce condenser capacity so it's not one size fits all.
