One of the tricks that 52-54 Ford guys use to get wider tires under the wheelwells is to put air shocks in with individual fill valves for each side. Jack the car up off the ground at the frame and then fill the air shock on the side you want to change the tire on, it'll force the leaf springs down to give a bit more clearance.

Roof looks good, nice to see the progress.

 

I ordered 2 tires, 255-70-15, we'll see what happens lol. I need the 29" tire, the 26" ain't gonna cut it.

That's great if your 6'4". For us short guys do some lace on the side panels. Maybe some fogging and spider webbing.

Not a fan of those big rope cables and retractors, so i picked up some tailgate cables, and a little work later, voila! Sticking the door panels in, waiting for paint to dry on the garnish moldings.
