Building a 34 Chevy 5w coupe and even though the wood was perfect it had to go. An exploring termite now would kill all his family and then commit suicide. No detailed build pics but a few progress ones. Perfectly good wood I couldn't GIVE away: Coupe body with steel tubing sub frame and 18g floor pan: Shows some of the steel tubing that replaced wood. Turned out several sizes of square tubing mandrels on the lathe. Steel inner door, bear claws, and hidden hinges: Body on temporary 37 Chevy frame to test fit components: Start on custom frame. Plasma cut rails and box with 2" straps: Rails on welding table being boxed, X member, suspension mounts, etc.
34 Master 5w state today. Dash will be redesigned with a "U" to fit over shorter column, all due to a 5" channel. Now has 3 piece hood.
Just finished yesterday , dismantling a four door , some of the nails and screws held as good as tig weld LOL
What about a Standard dash in lieu of the Master as it centralises your instruments given the channel?
Those bodies are so cool looking with long doors and short quarters. I had a 33, 3 window for a few weeks but it was too far gone for me. I set it free. Love your hood sides!
Do you have the chrome spears for your hood ?? The dash from the 33 master is the same size as a 34 master .
