No don't know him just think the men in the photos look like that same guy.

 

An Electro-Motive E8, the number 4000 designates it as the class engine, the first in that series. It was photographed on the test track in McCook, IL.
I was one of the winners in a plant contest one year and the prize was operating an EMD SD70 on the test track. For a piece of machinery weighing just under 400,000 lbs it accelerated pretty briskly from a standing start. Electro-Motive was a pretty cool place to work

 

That house is one scary picture to look at.

Our Dads Brother Uncle Joe a Paratrooper Chaplin visiting our Moms Brother Uncle Ralph a Medic with 7th Artillery when they were both serving in Korea. At 93 Uncle Ralph is still with us. I proudly served as his escort for a Veterans Honor Flight trip to Washington a few years ago.
