    In 2021 lumber dollars, that's a $1000 buck!

If your woodworking skills are any indication of your metalworking skills.....it's gonna be a beauty!
You might want to consider selling complete turtledecks. There is a market!
Keep us updated with pics, please!!

I found someone that had an original turtle desk so I made a template from it and went from there.

I like that. Mine turned out a little weird as i couldn't find the sizes anywhere so just made them up in my head.
(message me a few dimensions if you want?)

I'm sure someone would buy that to make one when you are done with it.

For sure, I also am sure the OP could market built decks if so inclined.

Wouldn't it be nice if someone made a good reproduction '26/'27 turtle deck?

    Hey... what the...

    Please make one for me!

  27. Wow!!!! Any more details on the buck. I assume stacking the wood allowed you to shape it the way you wanted it. How do you keep both sides equal so they are the same in the contures?

Very nice. Ron Covell has a teaching series on building a complete 27 roadster body from aluminum however I think you could use the same techniques with steel.
    It's a very good series.
